Owning a Bugatti undoubtedly comes with many privileges. Worldwide exclusive service network, post-sales special services, custom-made cars, and more… But perhaps one of the coolest privileges is the Bugatti speed test. The brand invited eligible customers from around the world to participate in test drives with their cars. Users were almost breaking world speed records during these speed trials. Here are the details about the Bugatti speed test…
A Bugatti user reached a speed of 400 kilometers per hour with their own car!
Last week, Bugatti organized a test event to evaluate the aerodynamics and durability of their cars. The event took place at the Launch and Landing Facility of Space Florida. In other words, to put it in a cool way, a space shuttle launch facility was closed for airplanes and their owners.
The event was held together with Bugatti and Bugatti’s former customers. All Bugatti owners attended the event with their own cars. The brand designed and gifted personalized Bugatti racing suits for all drivers. Besides these, there were other exciting gifts awaiting Bugatti owners.
The event area was an old space shuttle launch facility with a 3-mile long runway on the ground. This is where the old space shuttles used to park and where returning rockets landed on Earth. However, now it has become a test area for super sports cars called “earth planes” instead of space shuttles.
One by one, car owners took their cars onto the track and tested them. In this incredibly enjoyable event, one user managed to reach a speed of 400 kilometers per hour. Considering that the speed record of Bugatti Chiron is 417 kilometers per hour, we can almost call it a world record. The aerodynamic features of the cars were also tested during the event. Bugatti engineers took the necessary notes and collected user experience feedback.
Evan Cygler, the Brand Manager, said about the event, “Chiron Super Sport showed its confident stance at 400 km/h, just like it does at 200 km/h. This was an unforgettable experience and further strengthened my passion for the Bugatti brand.” The Brand Manager then gifted each participant with their highest speed achieved during the event, written on the back of the helmet they used.
